The UAA Department of Business Services (BS) is comprised of Parking Services, Procurement, University Housing, Dining & Conference Services (UHDCS) the UAA Bookstores, General Support Services (GSS), and the Wendy Williamson Auditorium.
Services offered by BS departments include:
- Residential student housing
- Bookstore operations
- Summer guest lodging
- Foodservice (residential & retail dining + catering)
- Meeting facilities, services & equipment
- Parking permits, lot maintenance, enforcement, & call team
- Copy & printing services
- Mail services
- Procurement and contracting services
- Office relocation and surplus disposal
Most Business Services units are self-supporting, generating sufficient revenue
each year to maintain operations while continuing to provide a high level of service
to the campus community.
