Alumni Association seeks new faces for Board of Directors--deadline extended By: Staff May 29, 2008 Association has four spots open on BOD for enthusiastic UAA alums
ANCHORAGE, AK – The UAA Alumni Association is currently looking to fill four positions on its Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is seeking alumni from the following disciplines to consider serving: Nursing, WWAMI, Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration and Law.
Applicants must be active members of the UAA Alumni Association to be considered for a position on the Board of Directors. Those interested in applying, but who are not yet active members, are encouraged to join the Association online at www.uaaalumni.org or submit a downloadable application with the candidacy package.
Alumni interested in running for a seat on the Board of Directors should submit the following information to be considered for a candidate position on the election ballot:
- Name, address, phone, e-mail
- Brief profile/biographical information (150 words)
- Class year, degree, experience and current position/employer
- Why you are interested in serving and what you believe you will bring to the Alumni Association that will add value and/or expertise to UAA Alumni and the University.
